For this attractive beach side apartment block the architect specified a dual colour option. Using blue on the outside which tones well with the nautical environment, while the internal white finish will not conflict with the homeowners’ tastes and décor and does not detract from the fabulous ocean views. The clean lines of the curtain wall facades and doors give the project a contemporary feel, and the use of specialist Stopray Elite glazing offers the occupants a dramatic reduction in solar heat gain as well as a good degree of privacy.

This was our first project with Barratt but we quickly developed a close working relationship. The project balances a strong profile colour with the modern external cladding of the building, creating a block of modern homes fit for the twenty-first century.

The modern industrial look of this café is created through the use of silver profile manufactured into strong shapes. The café boasts a bi-folding window, which can easily be manipulated to create a feeling of cohesion between the interior and exterior seating areas.
